AGEINGTOGETHER; 2ND MULTIPLIER EVENT WAS CARRIED OUT IN BURDUR

Another stage has been completed in the project “Ageingtogether – Overcoming Digital Barriers: Digital Literacy for the Elderly” within the scope of adult education of the Erasmus + KA2 program, which was granted by the Turkish National Agency in 2018.
The project is supported by the Turkish National Agency and has been carried out and coordinated by the Social Inclusion and Education Association (BUHAYAD). Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Public Education Center Directorate from Turkey, CPIA CT1 Catania from Italy, Center for the Innovation and Development of Education and Technology from Spain and Association of Inclusive Society (AIS) are partners.
The Dissemination Seminar, Multiplier Event. of the Project was conducted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Public Education Center, its partner from Turkey, on 18 August 2021 in Burdur/Turkey.
Invited adults (65+), experts, policy makers, professionals and trainers, representatives of public institutions and organizations and NGOs participated in the seminar to better promote the project and ensure their participation in the sustainability of the project.
The aim of the seminar is to disseminate the products and results developed within the framework of the project, to present the best practices, to mobilize the relevant organizations in order to provide digital literacy to the elderly and to explore the areas of cooperation among the participants.
Following the opening speech of our project partner Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Public Education Center Director, Mr. Hamit Kayacıoğlu, presentations about the Let’s Age Together project were made by the Education Center staff. In addition, a presentation on topics, the general introduction of the project, its purpose and importance, etc., was carried out by Mrs. Meryem Zincirli, a member of our association.
